Dr. Arnab Bose is the Chief Scientific Officer at UST and a Faculty Director in the Data Science Institute at the University of Chicago. He has over three decades of experience and enjoys working with data to influence behavioral outcomes. Arnab is focused on performance optimization and evaluation of AI agents, and managing AI risk and governance issues associated with multi-agent systems.

In healthcare, Arnab focused on population health management leveraging generative AI, machine learning and deep learning for use-cases such as risk stratification and disease management using personalized interventions. In finance, Arnab used machine learning to manage risk exposure in high-frequency quantitative portfolio trading in equity and fixed income. In automotive, Arnab worked on automated vehicle control and modeled automation impact on traffic flow, safety, and the environment.

At the University of Chicago, Arnab teaches Machine Learning, Machine Learning Operations, Time Series Analysis and Forecasting, and Data Science in Healthcare. Arnab has published a book, book chapters, and numerous peer-reviewed conference & journal papers. He enjoys public speaking and has given talks in US, Australia, and India. He is an avid traveler and has visited the 7 wonders of the world. Arnab holds MS and PhD degrees from the University of Southern California and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.
