Cheryl brings not only over 25 years direct healthcare industry expertise with health plans, employers, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), Medicare and Medicaid government agencies, but also deep consulting experience.

Cheryl most recently served as PA Consulting’s Managed Services Healthcare Leader and as a Deloitte Partner where she developed, led and grew Deloitte’s Payment Integrity / FWA managed services business unit. Prior to that, Cheryl was with Group Health of Puget Sound, where she served as the Pharmacy Business Unit Leader with oversight of a $500M P&L.

Cheryl specializes in Data Analytic / Tech Enabled solutions; Strategic Planning; Cost containment and payment errors / fraud waste and abuse detection & prevention services; Government-sponsored programs - Medicare and Medicaid Managed Care - that include end to end operations, finance, risk management, regulatory compliance and remediation, service area expansions and program readiness; and enterprise solution architecture. She is also recognized for her work in health plan and PBM operational and financial performance improvement and designing, developing, launching and managing sophisticated tech / data analytic based businesses and programs, such as:

She is also proficient in strategic planning where she engages business leaders and team members to understand business challenges and to translate challenges into solvable growth-oriented value-based programs/solutions

Cheryl has also been recognized as a thought leader in the Healthcare industry and was featured in United Healthcare’s news publication recognizing its top corporate wide thought leaders. She has presented at numerous national industry conferences that include AHIP, National Medicare/Medicaid Congress, NHCAA (National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association) and Society of Actuaries on the topics of Fraud, Waste and Abuse detection/prevention, dual eligible population, Medicare and Medicaid Managed Care and Public Health Insurance Exchanges, to name a few.
